Measuring and predicting cosmological parameters

Abstract: I first summarize measured properties of dark energy, dark matter and the early universe from the cosmic microwave background, galaxy clustering, the Lyman alpha forest, gravitational lensing, supernovae Ia and other cosmological probes. I then discuss the prospects of theoretically predicting their numerical values.
