Title: Energy Consumption and Climate Change

Abstract: This apolitical, general audience talk reviews the link between modern energy consumption and climate change. I start by detailing the rate at which modern civilization consumes energy, our various sources of energy, and how this consumption is changing Earth's atmosphere. The difficulties associated with predicting climate change are then described. The talk ends with a discussion of options for CO2 neutral energy.
